The War Devil : Spirit Tamer Book 1

Description:

Agent Black Dog has three weeks to pay back her debt before the Overman collectors come to take her life as collateral.

Her Plan? Take on a high profile contract to bring down a rebel controlled city, and split the reward with a War Devil classed battle suit.

The Problem? The War Devil doesn’t have access to any of the equipment she thought it would have, making an all out assault impossible. Plus, it thinks her plan is nuts.

Now it’s a race to steal enough explosives from the rebellion to cripple a city before the War Devil leaves, and the Overman collectors come to collect her debt.

As long as Zecona, that nosy Abot it brought along, will stay out of her way, she might just get out of this alive. But it’ll take more than a quick smile and a quicker trigger finger to convince a War Devil to take on a city alone.

Excerpt:

Ten minutes.

That’s all the time Black Dog needed to know whether she’d wasted the last six months trying to survive, or if she was already dead.

The sky pulsed red from a new firefight hundreds of miles away. At every turn, she was met with soldiers’ radio chatter sounding off a little too close for comfort, or the occasional drone gliding over the remnants of a bombed-out building. No one had spotted her walking, or if they had, they didn’t understand the threat she represented.

Stepping through the final roundabout, her destination materialized around the corner. The broken sign of Malarc’s Steak House loomed over her approach.

This week for Lost Echo's, I got a bit distracted with a few ideas, so took a step back to fill in smaller details like this bookshelf in the comms room.

This week for Lost Echo's, finished up getting in and out of the Diagnostic machine. Here you can see the animations for sitting in, and how the machine acts after the player returns to the main game.

This week for Lost Echo's, finished up the diagnostics machine, and experimented with the lighting. Next week I'll probably finish up the interaction logic, and hooking that up into the animations.
