About Me

Hi, I’m Jonathan.

I’m a writer, animator and game developer based in the US.

Silicon Abyss is where I document my creative projects at the intersection of art and technology. Whether I’m building a sci-fi horror game, writing a cyberpunk novel, or animating a short film, this site is a record of the journey, including the messy, iterative parts most people don’t show.

My current main project is Lost Echoes, a sci-fi horror game I’m developing solo in Godot. I post weekly devlogs here that track its progress across AI systems, level design, and gameplay mechanics.

On the writing side, I published The War Devil, the first book in my Spirit Tamer series, available on Amazon. I’ve also created animation projects including Chasm, focusing on character and atmosphere.

This week on Lost Echo, I wrapped up the pathing system! Moths can now enter/exit rooms and actively seek lit ones when theirs goes dark.
